Né en 1966 à Haubourdin, commune du nord de la France, je suis le troisième enfant d'une fratrie de 8.
J'ai eu une enfance heureuse et une vie bien remplie.
Durant ma carrière professionnelle, j'ai exercé plusieurs métiers : mécanique auto, bâtiment (tous corps de métier), vente en grande distribution etc...
M'investissant pleinement dans ma carrière professionnelle et pour ma famille, je n'ai pas développé mon art durant cette période. Même si l'envie de laisser libre cours à mon imagination était très présente, je l'ai toujours mise de côté.
La COVID et les confinements successifs, nous ont tous obligée à travailler différemment.
Autodidacte, J'ai commencé à peindre pendant le premier confinement.
Pour moi, cette période a eu du bon. En effet plutôt que de me morfondre sur mon sort, je me suis aperçu que j'avais du temps et que je pouvais en faire ce que je voulais.
J'ai donc commencé à me laisser guider au gré de mes émotions et de mon ressenti.
Ma passion pour la peinture sous toutes ses formes est devenue concrète.
A la sortie du confinement, j’ai ressenti un besoin viscéral de m’évader.
J’ai donc, décidé de partir pour Saint Jacques de Compostelle, en partant de chez moi comme le faisaient les pèlerins autrefois.
Les 3391 km que j’ai parcouru à pied du 16 mai 2021 au 23 août 2021 m’ont permis de faire une véritable introspection.
Durant cette période, j’ai tour à tour éprouvé des moments de doutes, de joies ou/et de tristesse. Toutes ces émotions m’ont accompagné durant mon périple, de mon départ dans le nord de la France à Saint Jacques de Compostelle en Espagne.
Depuis mon retour, je suis de nouveau heureux de peindre.
Je suis en permanence à la recherche de différentes techniques, matières, produits, afin d'évoluer dans la création de mes œuvres.
Le plus important pour moi est de prendre du plaisir en créant et en partageant mes créations.
j'expose dans différents lieux dans ma région.
