I studied graphic design, but didn't pursue it. I've always drawn a little. Today, I'm completely independent from painting. I'm just an amateur. There are no constraints; it's a welcome freedom.
I incorporate a lot of small drawings into my paintings; you have to look at the canvas carefully. It's like a second reading. I like seeing people approach because of the colors, the portrait, then seeing the small drawings and getting closer again to discern them all.
