Pascal Cavalli has been a French draftsman and sculptor for over 50 years. After studying at the Beaux-Arts, he trained in sculpture in his father's marble workshop.
Pascal Cavalli studied all the sculptors and artists from 1900 to 2000. They allowed him to broaden his knowledge without being directly inspired by them. He spent years finding, thanks to his technical work and the broadening of his knowledge, (Egypt, Greece, Italy…) a style of his own. It is characterized by the fact of making abstraction accessible (implementation and price), the permanent questioning of its creation, the concern for the quality of the work carried out, the desire to combine curves, lines... .and a search for beauty, harmony, and softness . For him, the material is at the service of a creative abstraction. He chooses his materials with precision, for their nobility and their durability: stone, marble, bronze or steel. He wants to confront curves, lines, smooth and polished surfaces to build volumes where light plays.
Pascal Cavalli also produces many structured drawings in India ink.
During his career, Pascal Cavalli exhibited throughout Europe, particularly in Switzerland and France. His works can be found in private or public collections in France and abroad: Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, United States, Quebec, New Zealand... He also creates pieces for local communities: Nancy, Carsac-Aillac, Matran, Salignac Eyvigues.
