Aleksandra is an artist whose surrealistic and slightly mystical paintings are inspired by folklore and fantasy worlds. Her work often features figurative compositions filled with fairy-tale imagery and fantastical creatures.
“For me, art is magic. It’s a way to share happiness, love, and positive energy with the world,” says Aleksandra. She believes that the mood and energy of the artist stay on the canvas and are passed on to the viewer. Therefore, every one of her works is infused with light emotions and kind wishes.
She describes her ideas as radio waves: “You just need to tune in to the right vibrations and be grateful to the world for every opportunity.” For her, the creative process is a dialogue with the characters in her paintings. She imagines their personalities, stories, and lives, which makes her art deeply emotional and unique.
The main theme of her work is to awaken the most positive feelings in people: love, compassion, the value of life, and the beauty of nature. Her paintings remind us of the joy of childhood, the purity of the heart, and the boundless power of imagination.
Despite the challenging circumstances of having to leave her native Kherson because of the war and starting life anew without a coin in her pocket, Aleksandra has remained true to her principles and her art. Starting over in a new country, she continues to inspire people with her creativity, emphasizing that even in the darkest times, light can be found.
Her works have been exhibited in a number of notable exhibitions in recent years, and her art continues to bring joy to audiences around the world.
