Biography
Second child Dureuil Fernand, Paris taxi driver originally from Cussy-en-Morvan and Anost in the Morvan region, and his wife Germaine Jaeck, Dureuil Michel was born at the foot of Montmartre in 1929 to 2 rue André Messager. It presents a very early age for drawing and realized sketchbooks of Paris during the Occupation. It initially follows the industrial design course at the professional drawing school at 185 Rue Saint-Maur in Paris 11th arrondissement, then entered the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts where he joined the studio of Jean Dupas in which he makes the acquaintance of his classmates: Jean-Pierre Alaux, Paul Ambille Joseph Archepel, Maurice Boitel, Paul Collomb, Mickaël Compagnion Emile Courtin, Geoffroy Dauvergne, who offers him a painting: The Temptation of Venus, Dechezelle Claude Roger forissier Garand, Roland GuillaumeL Paul Guiramand Jean Joyet Henriette Lambert, Jean Monneret PEDOUSSAUT André Olivier Pettit, René Quillivic André Plisson, Ernest Risse, Frederic Vidalens.
Jean Dupas, who had to undergo surgery, he was replaced in 1951 by Edmond Heuzé. He made the acquaintance of Michel Henry student Roger Chapelain-Midy who will present the latest on the gallerist Stephen Sassi.
He made frequent visits to Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche resides or his gallery. His meeting with the perfumer couturier Edward Molyneux who took him under his leadership, will give a boost to his career. It accompanies it in Jamaica in Montego Bay. Back in France he traveled in south-west France: Bayonne, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, visiting Catalonia, the Netherlands and Switzerland (Kandersteg).
The family left Paris to settle in Maintenon Eure-et-Loir. This is the army, it is incorporated in the regiment train Montlhéry and hand after his classes at Miliana in Algeria. Back in France, he married Michelle Bremen that will give him a daughter Caroline in 1955. The couple leaves to live in Biot, to Clausonnes, Edward Molyneux property in the Alpes-Maritimes. When Molyneux went to live in Monte Carlo, the Dureuil return to Maintenon.
It will go live in the Luberon, in Biot, and will be permanently located in Saint Jeannet or he dies in 2011.
