Es handelt sich um ein Verfahren zum Drucken auf Kunstdruckpapier mit sehr hochwertigen Pigmenttinten, das in sehr hoher Auflösung gedruckt wird. Der Konservierungsgrad ist aussergewöhnlich (über 100 Jahre), Qualität, Tiefe und Nuancenreichtum übertreffen den klassischen Fotodruck auf Argentic-Papier.
Glänzende Oberfläche
Abgesehen von seiner aussergewöhnlichen Dicke besteht das Faserpapier aus einer säurefreien Alpha-Cellulosebasis, die mit Bariumsulfat bedeckt ist, und einer mikroporösen Schicht, die die Pigmente beim Drucken absorbiert. Dieses Papier hat eine rein weisse Farbe und ist lichtecht. Es wurde speziell für Beständigkeit und Alterung entwickelt. Es wird von grossen Museen weltweit verwendet, da es eine hervorragende Auflösung bietet und tiefe und dichte Farben wiedergibt.

Beyond the clouds, the sky is leaden, seemingly heralding the imminent arrival of a storm.
Only a few rays of light break through the sky, merely to illuminate that malevolent, tragic wave that is about to channel the force of the waters in a dual, deadly pincer closure around the wreck.
The splashes of agitated and crashing waters, waves coming from all directions, and the ship, perhaps now off any course, are the visual summary of this artwork.

Primo piano sulla prua dell'imbarcazione 3d assaltata dalle acque. Sta per affondare ma non è ancora stata sopraffatta.
Le violente onde del mare o dell'oceano sembrano non avere pietà di quelle fragili vele di una nave sull'orlo del collasso.
E già affondano il colpo dalla sinistra mentre a destra dell'immagine si sta formando, mastodontica e spettacolare nuova onda forse più terribile di quella appena citata.
Non si vedono scogli, non si vede alcuna terra all'orizzonte poiché l'opera artistica non ci deve dare alcuna speranza di approdo; nessun punto fermo.
Qui ogni cosa si muove e se le vele si spezzaranno l'imbarcazione rimarrà completamente in balia delle onde e nulla più potra fare il moviemento del vento per trascinare il rottame fuori da quella burrasca.
Aldilà delle nuvole il cielo è plumbeo. E sembra preannunciare l'arrivo imminente di una tempesta
Solo qualche raggio di luce traspare dal cielo e solo per accendere un faro su quella malefica, tragica onda che sta per convogliare la forza delle acque in una duplice, micidiale chiusura a tenaglia sul relitto.
Scrosci di acque agitate e sciabordanti, onde mosse provenienti da tutte direzione e nave, forse, fuori oramai da qualsiasi rotta sono il riassunto visivo di quest'opera d'arte.
L'immagine è stata studiata in questo modo per evocare un effetto, originale, di convolgimento nella bufera in atto e in questa lotta disperata contro la forza della natura.
L'osservatore, infatti, quando vi si trova davanti ha l'impressione di trovarsi coinvolto in mezzo a quell'imbuto che si sta formando tra le onde.
A lui, dunque, il compito di venirne fuori!

L'autore di queste opere nasce in un nosocomio italiano, nella provincia di Firenze, nel 1980. Conseguito il diploma di Perito commerciale e programmatore trascorre diversi anni sviluppando software aziendale in una ditta di informatica. Successivamente, nella seconda decade degli anni 2000, dopo una collaborazione comunale svolta per conto dell'Istituto Nazionale di Statistica viene rapito dai favolosi progressi della tecnologia e dell'intelligenza artificiale con la quale prova a materializzare in arte le idee nelle forme più bizzarre e diverse. I temi principali dei suoi lavori (realizzati e poi modificati manualmente tramite programmi di elaborazione di immagini) sono soprattutto animalistici ma non mancano elementi di ispirazione e di concetto quali la Natura (come elemento da difendere), le raffigurazioni ironiche o simboliche ed artistiche basate sia su uno stile antico (medievale, rinascimentale...) che moderno come l'arte astratta. Vive e realizza le sue opere in Toscana, Italia.
