The skillful use of mixed acrylics gives the pictorial surface an almost material dynamism, where the gesture itself becomes language. The color palette is another element of strong impact: the warm tones of ochre and rust clash with the depth of blue and the milky glazes that suggest a barrier, a veil, an absence.
