I am originally from Belgium, I lived in Canada and for a long time in Hungary. For almost two years based in Nice where I set up my apartment-studio. I taught French and English for 30 years but I always loved painting. I took the time to trace my thoughts and perceptions in colored lines and shapes 5 years ago, when I remembered that it was time to let myself live.

As Picasso mentioned: "In every child there is an artist", so simply leave room for the child still in me, and create "something pretty something simple something beautiful", while there is still time.

Make feelings visible by making - creating - an atmosphere, stopping there, on the canvas on the walls and ceilings to bring to life one's thoughts, those that one cannot formulate in words, make them beautiful to give them

I write texts of words in sentences with no punctuation so let's say simple messages moments to share

My research (so much remains to be discovered of da Vinci's work, his faces with serene smiles, his geometry, ...) amazed observation of nature, of the games of lights and notice the beauty of this harmony that surrounds us and that forms this world, a true offering with countless facets.

I would like to approach the enigmas of Kadinski, of Miró, perceive their rhythm, feel the light blur of Renoir's portraits, follow the short and continuous lines that turn and dance with the moods of Van Gogh, the deep harmony of Monet, the beauty that emanates from the paintings-cases of Klimt......

Geometry seeks it, feels the harmony, guesses it, listens to the shapes, the beauty of the eyes of animals, the weight of the morning dew, the geometry of the lines in motion.

The colors, their nuances, their voices, each has a sound, a depth, an echo-

I paint with my hands, with a brush, a knife, with and on what presents itself, in oil, in acrylic, tempera and I still have so much to learn, discover,….

Gently link my words to the shapes of colors, mix them up

Currently I bring walls, ceilings, palps to life, and discover the beauty of their so-called imperfections, I cover them with presence
