..."One day in the world, any day, the sun rises from the East, and begins to reveal mountains, plains, seas, the outline of cities.

One day in the world we wake up and begin to embark on the course of the day, each intent on fulfilling his or her existential task.

One day in the world, life, in all its expressions, manifests itself, develops, decays, ends.

One day in the world all living things provide for their own lives, or try to do so, by providing food for themselves, for the weak, for the species whose destiny they share. 

One day in the world, war and peace confront each other, as in Picasso's work, in an atlas that sees the areas of conflict growing ever wider.One day in the world, the ideal clock that marks the time that separates us from the Apocalypse, seems to approach midnight.

One day in the world the search seems to ensure wider horizons of life and well-being. 

One day in the world there is a growing perception of the fragility of our planet, whose fate is increasingly linked to our behavior.

One day in the world, the one hundred and sixty Artists whose works you see presented in this catalogue, decide to make the simple and radical gesture of painting, sculpting, drawing, taking photographs, shooting videos, designing installations. Performing a creative gesture that, observed as a whole, appears as a great collective work, a choral with many voices that reaches our sensitivity by following different paths: those of beauty, reflection, dream, denunciation, transcendence.

One day in the world, hundreds, thousands of visitors separated by physical distance, but close in the collective ritual of participating in the works, of looking at them, discovering them, reading them as visual texts full of meaning, discovering their various complexities, confirm the necessity of Art as a fundamental part of our being participants in the world."
