It's sequence of my paintings through the couple of years). In that time, I was searching for combining new technologies with traditional acrylic painting.
For the beginning I've been worked on a computer with different real painting emulation software. When an image was satisfying me I had projected it onto various surfaces: canvass, glass, scratched metal plates, multi layered plastic nets etc. and painted with acrylic on top of the projection.
I've chosen such technique because with computer I became more flexible in my visual experiments, I've got a possibility repair all mistakes without losing lot of time and tons of paint.
Some of my works possess various people all around the Europe but most of them I lost in the course of my quite turbulent life. But digital files I've kept on different virtual storages and offer prints of my works.
If you'll take a bit closer look on all images from "Twilight - Copenhagen", you can realize that impressionist and expressionist approaches to reality are combined here.
Everything is as usual, but not quite... This way it goes in Copenhagen - a very strange city, the place where Andersen’s surreal tales took place.
