Oscar Brocos is a contemporary Argentinian sculptor, born in Buenos Aires in 1950 and currently residing in Villa Gesell. He graduated from the National Ceramics School and studied sculpture under the guidance of Ramón Castejón. His artistic education was also shaped by teachers such as José “Pepe” Esteban, Vicente Puig, Julio Barragán, and Rodrigo Bonome. Oscar's artistic lineage includes notable family members like his great-great-grandfather Juan Brocos (sculptor), Isidoro Brocos (sculptor and painter), Modesto Brocos (painter and engraver), José Brocos (painter), and Juanita Brocos (painter).

As a sculptor and visual artist, Oscar also explores lithography, drawing, and digital art. He has held 14 individual exhibitions and participated in more than 100 group exhibitions. Some notable venues include Villa Victoria Ocampo, the Museum and Historical Archive of V. Gesell, CEMAV of V. Gesell, Luís Perlotti Sculpture Museum, Pompeo Boggio Museum, University of Lanús, Palais de Glace, Eduardo Sívori Museum, Gallery Nights Cariló, Pinamar House of Culture, Ushuaia Maritime Museum, Rosa G de Rodríguez Santa Fe Museum, Borges Cultural Center, La Pampa B Artes Museum, The Latin American Art Center in Miami (USA), CIALEC Córdoba (Spain), Rincón de Ademuz (Valencia, Spain), Puerto Rico Convention Center, Muzeul de Arta Prahova (Romania), Galery Int Kunst (Austria), and fairs such as ArteBA, Puro Arte, Arteclásica, and Expotrastienda.

Oscar has received more than 30 awards, including the 1st and 2nd National Sculpture Award, the 2nd Prize in Sculpture Annual Salon of San Isidro, the Rotary Club Prize at the National Salon of Santa Fe, the Second Prize Aires de Córdoba (Spain), and the Rotary Club Prize at the V Biennial of Sculpture Mtro. Fco. Reyes. He has also served as a juror in salons alongside prominent figures such as Vicente Forte, Carlos Cañas, Leo Tavella, Vilma Villaverde, Sarah Guerra, Beatriz Orozco, Fabriciano Gómez, and Miguel Canataquis. His works are included in public and private collections in Colombia, the USA, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Serbia, and Argentina.
