"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

The backstory to this painting is as follows.
More than a decade ago, on a balmy summer evening, at an unexpected moment in the Dutch town of Deventer, a particularly nice and attractive woman stood before Olivier Xavier. It was clear from the first moment that there was a rare click. She and Olivier Xavier bubbled and chatted all evening and night in a cafe. When the cafe closed, she hugged Olivier Xavier and pressed an iPhone with a beautiful aria to his ear. Then she kissed him. Olivier Xavier was hooked. His soul had been deeply touched and his heart stolen. The woman of his life had finally presented herself, so he felt. A day later it turned out that this extremely nice, kind, intelligent and attractive woman was in a relationship with another gentleman. The next ten years followed a passionate secret affair that now seems to have ended. Olivier Xavier was left with nothing, except this painting that reminds him of the woman of his life who inspired him and with whom he will share a deep soul affinity until the time comes and he will exchange the earthly for the heavenly. Until that time arrives, he creates art from his deep mourning and keeps hoping against hope that SHE, one day as a bachelor, will suddenly stand in front of him and want to marry him. Against his better judgment, of course!
As a result of an unattainable love and the accompanying lingering mourning, Olivier Xavier became an artist. The lady in question was secretly having an affair with him. She was and remains his muse. Therefore, in 2023, Olivier Xavier painted this painting with oil paint and acrylic paint with a glossy layer of transparent varnish over it.
The painting is 60 by 60 centimeters and signed both on the front, scratched in the paint, and also on the back with a gold marker. Olivier Xavier's business card is also attached to the back. But for Olivier Xavier, painting alone is not enough. To further process his grief over this unattainable love, he composed a song, and in collaboration with a producer, this instrumental version with background choir came to life. This song can now be heard in this video.
Every day when Olivier Xavier wakes up he thinks almost first of his muse whom he knows he will never be with again in this earthly life. This depresses him but these moments are THE moments when he excels at creating artistic concepts, paintings, piano compositions and photography.
