This painting conveys the feeling of the infinity of space and the small but significant presence of man in the Universe. The astronaut stands on the lifeless surface of the Moon, surrounded by craters and traces of distant collisions, and in front of him is the blue Earth, filled with life and movement.
The astronaut is a symbol of humanity, its curiosity and desire for the unknown. His shadow on the lunar dust seems to hint at the trace that we leave in history.
I filled the background of the starry sky with many glowing dots and nebulae to convey the depth of space and the mystery of the Galaxy. The red planet in the distance reminds us of future travels, that the boundaries of the possible are always expanding.
This painting is about dreams, about the fragility of our world and how important it is to take care of what we have, even when we strive for the stars.

Each painting is a part of me and a creation into which I put my efforts. I’m constantly trying to learn and reach a new level in drawing to create more detailed and realistic paintings.
