Bastet also known as Bast, Baast, Ubasti and Baset. Bastet's name means, "She of the perfume jar". She was connected with perfumes as she shares a hieroglyph with that which represented the bas jar. These were ceramic vessels used to hold expensive perfumes.
The Goddess was linked to the music and dance due to the special rattle that she carried known as the Sistrum. These special rattles were used to celebrate her festivals.

My Passion has begun with a Point… a Dot….and bloomed into hundreds of thousands of points. For me, painting mandalas has a sacred and spiritual meaning and also heals my soul. The emotions connect us to our Soul. Let’s express ourselves!!! :)
