The Tree of life has a magical and a mystical meaning, well known throughout many cultures, dating back to ancient times, called it by different names but all have similar meanings as the source of life .
Meaning of Tree of Life Painting
For the Ancients Celts, the Tree of Life symbolised harmony and balance.
Celtic Tree of Life symbol can be interpreted in many ways. Tree of Life represents the balance and harmony in nature, is a symbol of wisdom, strength and a long life.
The Tree of Life unites the upper and lower worlds. Its roots reach deep into the lower world, while its branches grow up to reach the upper world. The trunk of the Tree of Life connects the two worlds to the earth’s plane. Just AS ABOVE SO BELOW…
Triquetra, Triskelion, Spiral , Eye …are symbols that i have chosen to give a deeper meaning to our Life.
Triquetra or Trinity Knot (Celtic Triangle) painted in all four corners of the canvas , and also in the middle of the Tree of Life ( between trunk and roots) , these Three interlocked loops symbolise that there is no beginning and no end. This is where the protection, infinite, and eternity theory comes into play.
That is the mind, body, soul - past, present, future - thought, feeling, emotion - life, death, rebirth. We are always connected and never separated.
The Spiral symbolise the movement, progress, connection, expansion, growth, birth , awareness and all-round development.
The Eye symbol i have chosen to place into the tree roots symbolise the vision, clarity, focus and remember to Learn from the Past ( our roots) but Live in the Present .
