I chose abstract painting because it allows you to express feelings and meanings without being tied to real objects and at the same time create quite recognizable images with just a couple of strokes. I used this technique for this picture. At first glance, there are only strokes of different colors and sizes on the canvas surface. But if you look closely, you can see a family, a man and a woman standing side by side, and two smaller figures in the foreground. This look turns the picture into a real family portrait. Only then should the family be regarded as a metaphor for the clan, ancestors, and dynasty. It is more than just a family, it is history and a future linked by family ties.
