Hello! My name is Oleksandra Padushyna. I am from Ukraine, from Berdyansk - a small and homelike town on the shore of the warm Azov Sea. For thirty years I used to live near the sea and it had a great influence on me and my art. Now I live in Germany, in a land where there is no sea, but I am still drawn to water - to rivers and lakes. When I lived near the sea, I spent a lot of time near it, contemplating its beauty, memorizing moments, photographing and painting a lot. I have a special passion for sea sunsets. Every minute the colors change and every moment is uniquely magnificent. Being in Germany, I admire the clear turquoise lakes we have here. I try to capture all states of scenery near the lakes at different times in all kinds of lighting and in various weather. Water is life. Paintings with seascapes, or those depicting lakes or rivers, are filled with a special atmosphere. I am also inspired by the sky, nature, flowers, fruits, everyday life, people, cityscapes, my homeland and my faith in God. I have some ideas and plans related to these themes, which I would like to further realize in my paintings as well.I am a full-time professional certified artist. I started my professional art education from the age of 7 in 1999 and since then painting has been my lifelong passion. It is my dream that has become a reality. I have participated in local and international competitions and won prizes. More than 250 of my paintings are in private collections all over the world. I have painted in different techniques, but for many years I have been a watercolor artist, because watercolor is my love at first sight and I will help you to fall in love with it as well.
