wall decoration, Buddhas mirror: I created and made this joyful mosaic mirror, I cut out a round of 39cm in diameter from veneered wood, I glued, in the center, a mirror of 20cm in diameter, I I made the mosaic in mixed technique, a technique that I invented for my work, and which combines joyful painting and mosaic, I made a mosaic composed of glass paintings, painted on the reverse by me, ( Senegalese technique) then cut out, in order to create a magical mosaic, interspersed with mirrored pieces, on which I integrated pearls of different shapes and colors, but always magical, I imagined spaces with shimmering pearls, created heads of Buddha and shapes in clay stamped on molds that I made, colors vibrations, The mirror is framed with these pieces of clay inlaid with different shapes like imprints: birth of traces. I added gold leaf in places, gel relief paint in drops and edging around the mirror and each piece of glass.. unique piece signed Odile Maffone made with my imagination and which I hope will bring you some happiness every day, when you contemplate it!
