Odile Faure is a contemporary French painter. The subject imposed itself on her after a career as a textile designer for numerous silk enterprises during her professional life: the floral theme that traditionally served as an inspiration for the textile industry in general and the silk industry in Lyon in particular. Simple, delicate flowers that we pass every day without paying them the proper attention. Between the botanical illustrations of Pierre-Joseph Redouté, the "Raphael of flowers," and the modernism of Georgia O'Keeffe, a rural lifestyle and a naturalist spouse fostered this interest for work on the wonders of nature.
