Biography
Normando Oliveira da Luz was born in Santo Antão, Cape Verde in 1979. He travelled the islands of Cape Verde attending various schools and finished the High school in 1999. He won a scholarship to study in Portugal where he is majoring in Architecture at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon. From the very early age he has been fascinated by art. In 2006 he started his own study in painting, where he was influenced by great classic masters such as: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Rembrandt, and contemporary masters like: Jose M. Parramón, Salvador G. Olmedo, Joan Marti, Luis Royo and José Luis Fuentetaja.

Biography
