Noëlle HUIN born in 1951 in Laronxe, a small village in Lorraine in France.

Very young she was interested in drawing and more particularly in portraits, fascinated by the emotions that faces can convey.

Courses in workshops in Nancy were beneficial after a first prize in 2006 (giraffe woman).

Figurative painting quickly became her passion, she painted bucolic and rural series with a lot of poetry, she used soft colors and delicate contrasts to create a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere.

She went to the south, attracted by authentic hilltop villages that have preserved their souls over the centuries. There she discovers an incomparable light, a different vegetation, pines, olive trees, lavender, thyme and rosemary in the scrubland, these scents which intoxicate and colors which awaken the senses accompanied by the song of the cicadas. All these elements invite her to paint, she develops her knife technique through multiple fragmented touches or the mixture is done directly on the canvas to create effects of light and contrast and sometimes the passion for portraits resurfaces.

Her unique style and great sensitivity make her an artist.

Her work "Angomont" was selected in 2022 for the cover of the latest novel by the writer Denis Lainé "un village si tranquille et pourquoi...".

The work "Tina Turner" appeared in the magazine Univers des Arts in 2024.
