Artiste d'origine belge, Nicolas a passe son enfance en Afrique du Sud.
Nicolas a vecu et travaille en Angleterre, au Canada et aux Etats Unis, ou il reside avec son epouse, elle meme artiste. Ses oeuvres refletent ses voyages et expériences a l'etranger, ainsi que son amour pour la nature. Sa fascination, plus jeune, pour le travail de Dali ainsi que de Rembrandt peuvent alors se retrouver dans son attention aux details, la succession de fins glacis,il donne ainsi du ''corps'' a ses portraits et autres themes. Son oeil est attire par les objets simples de la vie quotidienne, ou de la nature (en micro ou macro), qu'il detourne et assemble pour recreer son propre univers, tantot enigmatique, mysterieux, ou emprunt d'humour. Sa formation initiale en peinture decorative le conduit a s'exprimer en peinture murale, ou il excelle en trompe l'oeil, et se retrouve dans l'harmonie de ses couleurs et compositions. Son style evolue a present vers plus de liberte dans la touche et mouvement.

Nicolas a suivi son parcours artistique a l'Ecole des Beaux arts à Los Angeles, de Johannesburg et Bruxelles.Puis il a termine ses études à Reims, avec un diplôme en Peinture Décorative.

Expériences : Beaux arts,peinture a l'huile et acrylique, peintures murales, sculpture, le travail sur bois, la gestion de projet, le Service client, le Bilinguisme anglais/français, la restauration de Maisons anciennes, l'encadrement, le travail d'équipe, cultures etrangeres, les voyages et la nature.


Nicolas was born in Belgium , and spent his childhood in South Africa.

He has lived and worked in England, in Canada and in the United States, where he currently lives with his wife, artist herself. His art works reflect its journeys and experiences, as well as his love for the nature. His fascination, younger, for the work of Dali and Rembrandt can be sensed in his attention on details, and the succession of very thin layers of paint, which gives of "body" to his portraits and other themas. His artistic eye is attracted by the simple objects of the everyday life, or the nature (in micro or macro), which he brings together to create his own universe, in a dialogue with a sense of poetry, sometimes mysterious, enigmatic, or humour.

His initial training in Decorative painting lead him to work experiences as a muralist artist, where he demonstrates his fine art skills and expertise through various ''trompe l'oeil '' (fool of the eye) projects, and also expresses itself in the harmony of his colors and compositions. His style continues to evolve through his aristic touch, movement, and subjects.

Nicolas studied art at the School of Fine Arts in Los Angeles, of Johannesburg and Brussels. Then he finished his studies at Reims (France), with a diploma in Decorative Painting.
