It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

L’œuvre incarne une tension entre belle permanence et rupture soudaine, entre la main de l’artisan et la force de la nature, et devient ainsi un témoignage visuel de la vulnérabilité du patrimoine face au temps et aux catastrophes.

C’est au sein d’ateliers dirigés par des passionnés d’art que j’ai fait mes premiers pas dans le dessin. Dès l’âge de 8 ans, j’ai eu la chance d’apprendre aux côtés de talentueux artistes qui m’ont inspirée à concilier créativité et mon futur métier.
Pour moi, l’architecte doit savoir s’adapter au contexte dans lequel il travaille. La pratique du dessin va bien au-delà d’un simple outil de représentation ; c’est avant tout un outil d’analyse et d’appropriation. Chaque lieu porte ses propres récits et émotions, et c’est à travers ces éléments que je choisis la manière la plus juste de les traduire. C’est dans cette approche que j’ai cherché à diversifier mes techniques de représentation, afin d’être la plus polyvalente et de répondre au mieux aux spécificités de chaque projet.
Malheureusement, aujourd’hui, les logiciels de Dessin Assisté par Ordinateur (DAO) ont remplacé les dessins faits à la main, au détriment du temps et de la réflexion que chaque projet mérite.
En opposition avec les pratiques actuelles, je cherche à adopter une démarche qui valorise le temps consacré à la conception. Le geste de la main permet de porter un regard, une réflexion et un soin minutieux à chaque centimètre carré du projet. Et mon diplôme est l’opportunité de redonner une place à cette approche manuelle et réfléchie, en mettant en valeur le patrimoine à travers un langage universel.
Je suis particulièrement attachée à la représentation du « genius loci » (esprit du lieu), en particulier des architectures abandonnées et menacées, dépourvues d’occupants et de fonctions.
Mon approche vise à valoriser ce qui est négligé, à sublimer ce qui semble dépassé, et à redonner vie à l’âme d’un lieu qui tend à disparaître. Le dessin, dans toute sa diversité, est pour moi un outil d’appropriation et de mémoire, un langage universel qui sensibilise à la préservation des patrimoines de ce monde.
