It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Una serra orbitale trasparente avvolge cinque girasoli che fluttuano in assenza di gravità, dipinti con impasti spessi di giallo cadmio e arancio vivo. Le strutture idroponiche teal formano cerchi concentrici, mentre oltre il vetro un cielo stellato turbinante – blu oltremare, cobalti e smeraldi – echeggia la “Notte stellata”, punteggiato di nebulose spiraliformi.
Il contrasto caldo–freddo, le pennellate vorticose e il movimento sospeso donano alla natura morta l’energia di un piccolo sistema solare domestico.

Struttura orbitale
L’intera scena è racchiusa in una serra toroidale di vetro-grafene, resa con linee curvaturine verde-teal che si intrecciano a formare anelli concentrici.
Il pavimento idroponico è sospeso: sottili pennellate verde-smeraldo disegnano radici in torsione che fluttuano libere, suggerendo l’assenza di gravità.
I girasoli
Cinque capolini ondeggiano nello spazio, dipinti con spessi colpi di giallo cadmio, arancio cromo e lampi di verde-virdiano sulle foglie contorte.
Gli steli, lunghi e serpentinati, seguono traiettorie spiraliformi che echeggiano i vortici del cielo sul fondo. Alcuni petali si staccano, restando sospesi come piccole comete dorate.
Cielo cosmico
Oltre la cupola, un firmamento turbinante occupa metà tela: blu oltremare, cobalto, indaco e tocchi di smeraldo formano spirali che ricordano la Notte stellata.
Punte di bianco zinco e giallo limone segnano stelle e lontani bagliori di nebulose; una grande spira galattica in alto a destra diventa fulcro magnetico della composizione.
Stile pittorico
Impasto vorticoso – pennellate spesse, direzionali, che si avvolgono attorno ai capolini e si prolungano nel cielo, creando un unico moto spirale.
Contrasto caldo/freddo – gialli incandescenti contro blu profondo amplificano la vibranza ottica; il teal delle strutture funge da ponte tonale.
Disequilibrio poetico – la leggerezza dello zero-gravity fa fluttuare oggetti normalmente “pesanti”, trasformando la natura morta in danza cosmica.
L’opera fonde la vitalità floreale con l’idea di colonizzazione spaziale: i girasoli, simbolo di luce e speranza, prosperano in un habitat artificiale mentre lo sfondo stellare allude a nuove frontiere. Van Gogh, catapultato nel 3000, non rinuncia all’urgenza emotiva delle sue pennellate; semmai amplia la sua tavolozza al vuoto siderale, trasformando la serra orbitale in una piccola costellazione domestica dove il colore è gravità e la pittura, ancora, puro battito del cuore umano.
