Dit ingetogen abstracte schilderij, getiteld "why?", nodigt de kijker uit tot contemplatie en introspectie door zijn subtiele kleurenpalet en gelaagde textuur. De verschillende verflagen lijken gedeeltelijk door elkaar heen te schemeren, waardoor een gevoel van diepte en een geschiedenis van aanbrengen en misschien wel weglaten ontstaat.

De vormen in het schilderij zijn vaag en suggererend, zelden duidelijk gedefinieerd. Dit draagt bij aan de algemene sfeer van onzekerheid en openheid voor interpretatie. Het werk lijkt een visuele representatie te zijn van een innerlijke vraag, zonder een duidelijk antwoord.
