The painting is based on the poem by A. Pushkin:

When a noisy day dies for mortals,
And the dumb hailstones
Translucent shades of the night shadow
And a dream, daytime labors reward,
At that time, for me, dragging themselves in silence
Hours of agonizing vagaries:
In the sleep of nocturnal people are burning in me
Snakes heart pangs;
Dreams are boiling; in a mind depressed by anguish,
The heavy excess of thoughts is crowded;
Memory silently in front of me
Its long develops the scroll;
And with disgust reading my life,
I tremble and curse,
And I complain bitterly, and I shed bitter tears,
But I do not wash away the sad lines.buy paintingShe came home, took off her clothes and plunged into fond memories after a good evening.

Nataliya Bagatskaya is a contemporary Ukrainian painter. She has always been fascinated by the color and form. By combining them together, she gets unlimited possibilities for creating art. Some of her paintings are impulsive, where inner emotion captures her brush, while others are trips that even surprises the artist.

With her paintings, Bagatskaya tries to express how she sees the world, and on an emotional level to communicate with the viewer, hoping to fix the moment on the canvas. Her style has the basis of realism, adding surrealism or elements of the style of cubism, or even creating a mystical environment around realistic objects. In her works there is a series of still lives - as a "replica" on the subject of Dutch and English classical still-life with the accompanying attributes: vases, glasses, fruits and flowers that appear on a deep dark background. All these objects and environments acquire their aura, glow, giving the viewer a kind of mystical realism.

Nataliya Bagatskaya was born in 1967, in Ukraine. She is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.

The Artist was highlighted in an article in ArtMajeur Magazine:
