Natalie Roy is an illustrative artist born in 1975, living and working in southern Ontario, Canada. From a young age, drawing became a dominant form of expression for her, allowing her to assert herself despite her shyness. With limited educational training, she primarily learned art self-taught, studying art history and the techniques of past artists.

Working primarily in charcoal, ink, pencil and acrylic on paper, his works oscillate between the figurative and the abstract. Influenced by myth, the natural world and the esoteric, she often turns to basic monochrome themes, in homage to her admiration for prints, woodcuts and book illustrations.

After a long period of inactivity, Natalie Roy began drawing again in hopes of reconnecting with the art world and sharing her past and contemporary works. His drawings reveal a deep and personal quest, oscillating between the abstract and the figurative, while drawing on his mythological and natural inspirations.
