Natalia Lugovska was born in 1969 in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. In her youth, she showed interest in various types of creativity and handicrafts, including sewing using her own patterns, macrame and shoe design. One day she was told about a course at an art school, conducted by a famous artist. Natalia enthusiastically joined this creative process.
From 2010 to 2012, she studied at the Repin Art School on the course of Honored Artist of Ukraine Alexander Lysenko. During this period, she delved into the world of art, studying various art techniques, working in art workshops of famous European artists. Her favorite tabletop book was "Painting Techniques" by Kiplik.
Natalia works in the style of photorealism, surrealism, using oil and acrylic paints. Her works reflect pristine nature and beauty that is fleeting and unique. She creates sketches based on her photographs or other images, modifying them in various programs. Her goal as an artist is not just to reproduce an exact image, but to create a new reality, highlight unique moments and get closer to her ideal.
The highlights of Natalia Lugovska's career were participation in Kiev Art Week 2019 from "Zenko Gallery", participation in the project "Falling Shadow: Dreams in the Gardens of Jardin" at the 58th Venice Biennale in 2019 and her participation in the exhibition "Kreativ ist de Frau" in Germany in 2023. In February 2024, she participated in a group exhibition of Ukrainian artists Shero at MriyaGallary in New York.
The artist's works continue to inspire viewers and bring beauty and uniqueness to art.
