Article
Nan Sea Love's has dedicated her life and art to awakening consciousness to the sacredness of all life and the sacredness of our Mother Earth. Her most recent art is coupled with inspirational messages expressing her concern for the Earth and its animals. Through archetypal imagery, she gently suggests new ways of looking at and caring for animals.
She believes tha perhaps those animals who have touched our lives are truly angels, great spirits or bodhisattvas taking on animal bodies--choosing to be powerless except for love, speaking a language greater than words, awakening in us the language of love and compassion.
Nan Sea Love hopes her art will inspire the viewer to continue working to heal the Earth, ending the tremendous suffering humans cause to animals, our Earth, and even ourselves. Perhaps then we too may become great souls worthy of the unconditional love our animal companions lavish upon us.
As her name reflects, Nan Sea Love believes more than anything in the power of Love. Originally an atheist and dedicated rational thinker, life experience has led her to believe in a benevolent higher power that, if allowed, guides us toward greater Love and Peace. Her vision of the "Prosperity Angel" was painted in 1985 and illustrates this concept. After reading a little booklet called "Money is God in Action" by Raymond Charles Barker (ISBN:0-87516-502-9), she came to realize the money is really valueless, just paper or metal. Its comes from an agreement between people for an exchange of energy. There is abundant energy and limitless love when one looks to the Source of the Universe whatever you choose to call it. Trust in God, or Good, and love in the form of giving create a flow and transformation of energy- from the Divine, to money, to love flowering in abundance. Much of the world's suffering comes from the belief there is not enough. This faith in lack results in clinging to what we have. When the energy flow is stopped, fighting to get what "little" there is begins. Greed, hunger and even wars can result. As we open our hearts and hands and trust, the Wealth of the Universe will flow through. It's no accident that "In God We Trust" is on all money. Nan Sea says because she has experienced it over and over again, "share from your heart, love will take root and blossom around you". Nan Sea has gratefully shared ten percent of all she receives to where her heart calls, animal rights and environmental organizations.
"Nan Sea Love's art is a blessing to behold -- as it comes from the heart of God." (Jerry Jampolsky, M.D., founder of the Center for Attitudinal Healing and author of Love is Letting Go of Fear)
