Née Sallaberry Annie le 6 Décembre 1948 à Bordeaux (Gironde). Dite NANE
Vit et travaille à Bayonne. Depuis 1974 je ne me suis consacrée qu'à la peinture. Autodidacte, j'ai sillonné les musées et les galeries pour essayer de comprendre les différentes techniques. Plusieurs thèmes ont été abordés tels que les bords de quais, les forêts, les bords de mer, scènes intimistes, etc...
Après maints échanges dans l'observation et l'exécution dans le travail, ma peinture figurative est devenue petit à petit plus personnelle et plus libérée. L'expression juste de mon sentiment devant le sujet compte à présent bien plus que le sujet lui-même.
La rencontre d'une artiste colombienne Emma Reyes a été très enrichissante et un grand privilège pour mon évolution personnelle. L'Art, disait-elle, est l'égal d'un grand voyage pour lequel on prend un billet dont on croit connaître la destination mais où chaque incident peut en détourner le parcours et se révéler d'une grand innovation.
