My name is Nanda van der Vliet. I was born in Amsterdam. After some wanderings I settled in the province of Zeeland. I have been fascinated by nature all my life; how light and air keep changing the atmosphere around us. The Zeeland landscape is an excellent place to experience this. A few years ago I rediscovered my old passion and started painting again. Painting gives me the opportunity to express how I see and experience the world around me. I use different techniques and styles for this, depending on what suits me at that moment. I like working with acrylic paint because of the fast drying time and the ability to combine the paint with other materials.
