I was born in Bordeaux on December 2, 1958. As a child, I spent hours watching artists draw with chalk on the sidewalks of Bordeaux. Their drawing shone in the sun and when the rain fell on them, the colors gradually blended like a rainbow in the middle of the street. I remained amazed ... Afterwards, I never stopped looking for this feeling of indefinable happiness and I only find it when I paint. Praying and listening to music while I am working are sources of inspiration for me.
I worked in haute couture and then trained as a painting restorer, which allowed me to acquire a foundation in art history and allowed me to approach different pictorial techniques which are very valuable to me today.
From Rembrandt to Chardin to the Impressionists and the Cubists... All have inspired my painting.
My painting is intended to be abstract, expressive, colorful, I can also be inspired by darker backgrounds reminiscent of chiaroscuro... However, I can also use Indian ink or acrylics on paper.
My paintings are the reflection of my inner images and I sometimes accompany them with poetry.
The flowers that I see and which through my eyes metamorphose into abstract forms.
Outdoor and indoor nature have a place in my works, the colors are also revealing of the state of mind that we carry within ourselves.
I sell my paintings to private clients and art lovers.
