Дана Муканова-Хуршудян родилась в Караганде. Казахстан,
Окончила аспирантуру Института эволюционной физиологии и биохимии Российской Академии наук (Ленинград,1989-93), кандидат биологических наук.
Зам. председателя Армяно-казахстанского общества дружбы и сотрудничества, Ереван, Армения (с 1997). Имеет более двадцати научных работ по биохимии, востоковедению и по проблемам армяно-казахских отношений.
С 2001 года принимает участие в художественных выставках в Казахстане и за рубежом.
Член Союза художников Казахстана с 2004 года, с 2005 - член Союза художников Армении, с 2008 – член Профессионального Союза художников России.
В творческом багаже художницы серия замечательных портретов современников. С 2004 года работает над картинами, посвященными “сакской эпохе” Евразийских степей.
Иллюстратор второго издания книги Булата Джандарбекова «Саки». Художник года-2008, по версии газеты «Известия-Казахстан».

Работы находятся в частных коллекциях Армении, Казахстана, Великобритании, Венгрии, Германии, Индии, Ирана, Испании, Италии, Литвы, России, США, Таджикистана, Турции, Чехии, Швейцарии, Узбекистана. В настоящее время живет и работает в Алматы.

Dana Mukanova-Khurshudian was born in Karaganda, Kazakhstan.
In 1989-1993 – Scientific collaborator at Leningrad Institute of Evolutionary Physiology and Biochemistry named by I. Sechenov (Russian Federation). Ph.D. in Biology. Vice-Chairman of Armenian-Kazakhstan Society of friendship and cooperation, Yerevan, Armenia (since 1997).
She has more than 20 scientific works (articles and books) on Biochemistry, Orientalistics and the issues of Armenian-Kazakh relationships.
From 2001 Dana participates in the art exhibition in Kazakhstan and abroad. The Member of the Artists Union of Kazakhstan – since 2004 and the Member of the Artists Union of Armenia – since 2005. In her artist portfolio there are the series of the remarkable portraits of the contemporaries. Since 2008 – the member of the Professional Union Artist of Russia.
Since 2004 she paints the works devoted to “the Sakas epoch” of Eurasia steppes.
Her works are in private collections in Kazakhstan, Armenia, Czech Republic, Great Britain, India, Iran, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkey, the USA and Uzbekistan.
