Moma was born in Casablanca, Morocco. She was immersed since childhood in the blue of the Atlantic Ocean and the ochre of the Sahara dunes, hence her choice of colors.
Her first painting works were through color without shapes. She drew fashion models from childhood. Then she took drawing classes to achieve her dream: to paint portraits and nudes on live models.
Moma is passionate: to paint to exist. She tries all the pastel techniques, watercolor, charcoal, oil, until she finds her own expression.
She admires the impressionists: Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, Modigliani, Berthe Morisot but also the "Fauves: Kees Vandongen, Isaac Grunewald
What characterizes her is a dynamic and at the same time very soft line, a very audacious assortment of colors.
Portraits are her great subject." For me, the essential is through the look" she often says
