Medium: archival quality watercolour painting on STRETCHED CANVAS, varnished with satin, water resistant varnish
I created this watercolour painting on stretched canvas - high quality Winsor and Newton stretched deep edge cotton canvas. The surface of the canvas has been prepared using professional, artist grade absorbent watercolour primer and then painted using watercolours.
Professional, artist grade Beeswax based Satin picture varnish has been applied to the finished work to protect the artwork from dust, moisture etc which means the picture is ready to hung without the need of framing behind a glass.
(Beeswax has been used as a painting medium and preservative for thousand of years. It gives a stable and long lasting finish to any art surface such as wood, canvas, paint and paper)
Please note that all of the materials used are professional and artist grade
