Mohsen Hadi, 42 jaar, geboren en getogen in Teheran. In 2009 behaalde ik mijn bachelor in grafisch ontwerp. Sinds augustus 2024 woon ik in Nederland en wil ik mijn werk als kunstenaar voortzetten.

Mijn schilderijen verkennen menselijke emoties zoals pijn, depressie en eenzaamheid in de moderne tijd.

De technieken die ik in mijn werk gebruik, zijn meestal zwart of grijs van toon. Ik werk met een olieverfschraper, kunstenaarsspatel, paletmes en kwast. Mijn werk is vaak uitgevoerd op karton, canvas en röntgenfotomateriaal. Ik werk het liefst op canvas en mijn favoriete technieken zijn collages.

Mijn werk is tentoongesteld in diverse exposities in Teheran, en ik heb ook meerdere solo-exposities gehouden. Daarnaast heb ik uitgebreide ervaring in fotografie en theaterproducties.

Ik maak ook kunstwerken van gerecyclede en geüpcyclede materialen.

Daarnaast heb ik verschillende technieken onderwezen aan kinderen en studenten.

Mijn werk was altijd een hobby voor mij. In een land waar kunst niet wordt gewaardeerd, was het moeilijk om mezelf verder te ontwikkelen. Mijn werken werden niet gewaardeerd of ondersteund.

Ik hoop dat dit in Nederland anders zal zijn, want ik weet dat dit een land is van kunst en cultuur. Ik hoop dat mijn werken hier gezien worden en dat mensen er plezier aan kunnen beleven
