We set expectations of what life should look like after a period of desolate silence. The unstoppable force of renewal does not care for constraints of your best expectations. It bursts with unrestrained vigour. It is greater than what you have hoped for. It is Spring. "It was a long winter—one of the harshest and most unrelenting. I waited eagerly. [...]
At last, there was a glimmer of sunshine, then snow. Another brief promise, and then more snow. Several missed “deadlines” left me frustrated. So, I decided to invite Spring myself, creating a collaboration with the branches in the nearby forest, which were just as eager to bloom as I was to see the green return." The “Spring” series, part of the “Imprint” collection, exploring the unexpected realities that unfold beyond our set expectations. The “Imprint” collection incorporates elements directly from nature. Branches are used as unconventional brushes, while foraged materials are transformed into pigments. This deep connection to the environment merges organic textures and forms with contrasting rigid, artificial elements, creating a dialogue between the nature and the human.

Miroslav Boljević's style is defined by minimalism and abstraction, sometimes utilising organic, custom and unconventional tools and foraged pigments. He expresses best through large canvas and sculpture, allowing the materials and scale to enhance the emotive power of his work. He adheres to four non-negotiable core principles: quality, sustainability, integrity, and solidarity.Miroslav Boljević (1990–) is an Adriatic artist inspired in, and by Norway. Through his work, he lifts up themes of gratitude and perseverance. Born into a war-torn region just ten kilometres from the front line, he was, ironically yet fittingly, named The One Who Celebrates Peace [Miroslav]. From an early age, he was determined to seek peace through creativity. This resolve led to his first public appearance at eight and participation in a group exhibition by the time he was twelve. After studying Visual Arts at Mediterranean University (ME) and Grand Valley State University (USA), he earned a Master’s in Design from the University for the Creative Arts (UK). This foundation helps him utilise design methods to create well-organised motifs.
