My name is Mirjam Ellen, the name MirEll is a merger.
As a child, I was already very creative. Toys were no fun to me, but drawing paper, pencils all the more. Creativity was and is still running through my life. A few years ago, my fingers did not seem to do what I wanted them to do, drawing and painting became difficult and in 2012, a year later, Parkinson's diagnosis was made. I was just 50 years old and my life seemed to be over!
Sadness, anger, self pity, I came into an emotional rollercoast. Luckily I still had met creativity. So drawing was not working, but there had to be more? And there it was; the digital world of photoshop elements. I taught myself to control the mouse of the computer with two hands and jumper into the digital artwork. It was my rescue. This new creative advendger helped me through the struggle with acceptation of my ilness. Untill now theelepel Parkinson seems tot progress vertellen slowly. So In have good hope foto Theo future.
