Lonely trees have always been favorably endowed by nature with a certain uniqueness in its existence. Biography
Minh Phuong Hoang Thi, a contemporary painter from Vietnam, lives and works in the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, a hub of vibrant artistic activity. Inspired by the city's dynamic art scene, Hoang Thi actively engages in exchanging ideas and exhibiting her work alongside artists from around the globe.
In her compositions, Hoang Thi strives to incorporate techniques gleaned from influential artists, seeking a suitable direction for her long-term artistic development. Currently, she is immersed in a series of landscape paintings rendered in the abstract expressionist style, a genre she deeply admires.
Throughout her artistic journey, Hoang Thi has drawn inspiration from renowned masters such as Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, and Jackson Pollock. From Pollock, she was captivated by his unique drip technique, which she employs to infuse her paintings with vivid energy. Similarly, she admires Picasso's distinctive approach to form and the powerful use of color and line in his works.
A profound love for nature serves as an endless wellspring of inspiration for Hoang Thi, informing her artistic vision and imbuing her creations with a sense of vitality and wonder.
In 2006, Hoang Thi graduated from the HCM University of Fine Arts, furthering her artistic education with postgraduate studies in Visual Arts at Khon Kaen Thailand University in 2010. As a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, she continues to contribute to and thrive within the rich cultural tapestry of Vietnam's artistic community.
