This artwork was conceptualized from a special painting order made by a family friend who was on vacation during the wintertime of 2022. They came to visit the Bay area to gather in holidays with her family in Burlingame, California.
Helen represents the alpha and commands leadership through the attractions of her winged pack in a surreal gathering with the beautiful, majestic creatures of the Animalia kingdom, butterflies. Helen and the butterflies symbolize beauty, life, hope, resilience and endurance of the two most iconic species on mother earth.
Milo's theme comes from his strong support and advocacy to the emerging role of women in world affairs today. These new generations of women alphas are not only sitting in the most powerful positions in government but are also positioned in all roles of the business industries. Women takes the pride as the biggest and significant percentage of the total workforce because not only they live longer but tend to be more risk averse than men. Lastly, as written by Mellody Hobson, president of Ariel Investments, in the latest Green Money EJournal, "The share of global wealth and earnings controlled by women is rising at a rapid rate. All of these factors make women the largest emerging market in the world.”
