Milie LAIRIE is a self-taught and professional painter from the Nantes region (France).
Passionate and specialized in animal art, she mainly works on her paintings in oil paint and her drawings in dry pastels.
It is first of all the expressive look that she tries to transcribe in her paintings in order to encourage an emotional exchange and raise awareness about this animal in particular. All the details and the play of colors then bring all the complexity that we find in each animal.
Milie loves bright colors, her work is often contrasted and that is why she particularly likes to paint peacocks. The blue and the immensity of the details in this bird fascinates her.
We also find many felines in her production, especially cats, with their deep gaze.
