I understand that the established standards of a birch grove are Arkhip Kuindzhi's "Birch Grove", or, for example, the landscape of the same name by Isaac Levitan. And I do not cancel in my universe of beauty, in a fit of youthful audacity, these good canvases. In general, I rarely include an internal critic and skeptic, trying to understand the author, if he is ready to speak.
I just drew about something other than them.

They: bring out "the trunks sparkling with white" ... "the luscious green carpet of dewy grass bathed in the sun".
Me: "with bare feet and oozing, I creep through the low bushes of dry heather to run my fingers into this softest moss carpet, which stretches along the palette from patina green to jasmine green."

There: "the artist makes you admire how joyfully, exultantly trembling in the sunlight every leaf, every blade of grass with shiny dew drops."
Here: a thick fog, dusty beige from the palette number 818, hides the horizon, making the grove endlessly mysterious. And any shadow in this whitish fog will excite the imagination, completing the figure of the local Totoro.

They have: decorativeness, mixed with simplification on the one hand, and realism that followed symbolism (well-being, femininity and health), which are imbued with rituals and customs.
For me: a rapidly flowing passion for impressionism, divorced from cultural traditions and characteristics. Not blinkered admiration for the atmosphere. My birches are not so slender and their crown is not so richly lush, and they are more like young eucalyptus trees. Maybe that's why they don't ask for the foregrounds of famous paintings. And that is why everyone has gathered comfortably at my place.

Theirs: "excellent mastery of perspective, draws the viewer's eye into the depths of the grove, begging for a continuation of the fairy tale plot."
My: the task is to give you the opportunity to come up with a plot and characters yourself, settling them in thick grass, under stumps and poking them behind trees. Invisible, but so necessary, characters for any microcosm, to which the five of civilization has not yet reached.
The only thing that unites our canvases is this feeling ... nothing violates this magical beauty.

The picture is painted on canvas with acrylics using natural brushes. Size 30 * 30 cm.

Yulia Zhdanovich, a contemporary Belarusian artist, embarked on her artistic journey with a passion for drawing that manifested as early as the second grade of her comprehensive school. Her talent was further nurtured by her grandfather, who left behind sketches of people and natural landscapes filled with ink and pencil.

Continuing to cultivate her skills, Yulia pursued learning opportunities through webinars, online courses, and masterclasses offered by various artists. Alongside her studies, she explored new avenues for expression and income, eventually finding success painting portraits in the style of pop art on commission.

During her work on pop art portraits, Yulia began experimenting with mixing colors for the background, delving into the intricacies of color theory and shades. Starting with pairs of colors, she gradually progressed to explore the magic of the tricolor palette, expanding her artistic repertoire and honing her craft.
