Michel Akrich, born with an innate artistic inclination, is a psychotherapist established in Avignon, but his career is marked by a rich diversity of artistic activities. Born with a talent for music and the visual arts, he first embraced a career as a composer for image and theater before becoming a sound engineer for television, collaborating with channels like CAPA and Canal+. At the same time, he made documentaries, worked as a photographer and taught.
His passion for photography unfolds as a natural extension of his work in psychotherapy. For Michel Akrich, emotions are at the heart of his explorations, both in his office and behind the lens. Photography thus becomes a means of exploring and understanding the emotional nuances of the human experience. His artistic projects are rooted in an insatiable curiosity for humans and a desire to capture the essence of his subjects with rare depth and sensitivity.
