Michael Fantozzi nasce a Roma nel 1984, da bambino vive tra Roma e New York dove inizia sin da subito ad appassionarsi all’arte visitando famosi musei e rinomati luoghi culturali delle metropoli, frequenta il liceo scientifico e poi la facoltà di lingue, parallelamente inizia la sua carriera da agente immobiliare.

Pittore autodidatta, si dedica all’arte della pittura da quando ne ha ricordo. Da subito usa colori acrilici, i primi quadri erano piccoli e materici. L’ispirazione naturale per i suoi dipinti acrilici e sculture in argilla proviene dai colori vibranti, dai profumi, dai suoni e dalle vedute dei suoi dintorni italiani. Tra i suoi artisti preferiti e fonti di ispirazione ci sono Fanch Ledan, Charles Fazzino e Francesco Musante. Inoltre, trae ispirazione dalle opere di un significativo gruppo di artisti romani che facevano parte del Movimento artistico romano negli anni ’50 e ’60.
Vedendo i suoi lavori, alcuni galleristi e operatori lo hanno convinto, dopo diversi anni di pittura in privato, ad esporre. Da allora Michael Fantozzi, ha portato i suoi quadri in varie gallerie e in fiere italiane.

Acrylic

Paint using traditional pigments mixed with synthetic resins.

Lacquer

Paint made with a resin from tree sap, various shrubs or with lacquer paints based on thermosetting resins. The technique consists in superimposing layers of lacquers with a vigorous polishing between each layer. It is mostly smooth shiny, but can sometimes also be satin or very Matt.

Michael Fantozzi was born in Rome in 1984, as a child he lived between Rome and New York where he immediately began to develop a passion for art by visiting famous museums and renowned cultural places in the metropolis, he attended scientific high school and then the faculty of languages, at the same time he began his career as a real estate agent.

A self-taught painter, he has dedicated himself to the art of painting for as long as he can remember. He immediately used acrylic colours, the first paintings were small and material. Natural inspiration for her acrylic paintings and clay sculptures comes from the vibrant colors, scents, sounds and sights of her Italian surroundings. Among his favorite artists and sources of inspiration are Fanch Ledan, Charles Fazzino and Francesco Musante. Furthermore, it draws inspiration from the works of a significant group of Roman artists who were part of the Roman Art Movement in the 1950s and 1960s.
Seeing his works, some gallery owners and operators convinced him, after several years of painting in private, to exhibit. Since then Michael Fantozzi has taken his paintings to various galleries and Italian fairs.
