Nata a Forli (FC) il 5 dicembre 1967, risiedo da quasi trent’anni a Cervia.
Fin da piccola sono attratta da colori e disegno.
All’età di 11 anni inizio da sola ad usare l’olio e, malgrado i miei professori di educazione artistica delle medie e superiori( rispettivamente la prof.ssa Neri e il prof Tellarini) implorino caldamente i miei genitori di farmi frequentare una scuola d’arte, essi si oppongono.
Negli anni continuo a dipingere e fare ritratti, ma il lavoro, la famiglia numerosa e la vita stessa mi impediscono di partecipare a mostre o estemporanee, anche se varie volte sono stata invitata dal comune della mia città, Cervia, ad allestire personali o collettive.
Nel 1990 vinco un concorso d’arte svoltosi a Cesena e nel corso degli anni in occasione di sporadiche esposizioni dei miei lavori attiro molti riconoscimenti e apprezzamenti da parte del pubblico. Vendo anche molte tele e ritratti.
Dopo un bruttissimo episodio della mia vita in cui mi sono curata per due anni per un’ aggressiva neoplasia cerebrale, ora fortunatamente in totale regressione, ho deciso di dedicarmi totalmente all’arte, passione della mia vita. Nel giro di pochissimo tempo dopo la pubblicazione del mio primo sito internet personale, mi sono giunte varie richieste per esporre in occasione di eventi o in prestigiose gallerie.
Visto che sono totalmente autodidatta dipingo solo ciò che mi da emozione… dipingo per me stessa e avendo un grande amore per i viaggi in località estreme e poco convenzionali, tante volte metto sulle tele quello che con le mie gambe non riesco a raggiungere oppure ciò che mi ha colpita. Amo la natura selvaggia, il Mare impetuoso del Nord, i fari imperituri fra le onde del mare e amo dipingere le persone con l’emozione che traspare dal loro sguardo…Amo fondamentalmente la vita e la passione e la luce e la sua lotta perenne con le ombre che spesso si ritrova nei miei dipinti.
La più grande soddisfazione che ho da tutto questo è la gratificazione e il consenso che ho sempre trovato nelle persone che mi amano come in quelle che non conosco e che hanno sempre dimostrato di apprezzare quello che sto creando.
