"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

AWARENESS:
Are we able to stop and become aware of where we are resisting, holding too tight, pushing too hard? Can we take stock and responsibility for our thoughts and how they can so easily metastasise into jealousy, impatience, intolerance, DIS-EASE?
TRUST:
Can we drop our expectations and desperate need to control the outcome? Can we be in the moment and allow ourselves to open up and trust the process as we learn and grow?
ACCEPTANCE:
Can we accept ourselves as we are, with all of the messy, fearful, insecure bits? Can we accept others this way? Can we move into a state of EASE as we see ourselves, and all that we have created, reflected back at us? Can we forgive?
Right in the middle of this painting process, I was profoundly confronted with the revelation that this work, and my experience with it, was a mirror. It was reflecting back to me my resistance, my self-doubt, my need to prove myself. It was there, looking right back at me, in the struggle to create a finished product, something that will be accepted and not rejected.
The more I struggled, the harder I pushed, the more difficult it became. Then I remembered that you can't reach Flow-State by pushing, only by letting go and allowing.
I realised that the act of painting is a microcosm of LIFE, of the Human Condition, that ALL art is!
Once I did that, it all started to come together, and I was able to reflect on where this resistance was coming from and what it was teaching me about myself.
Related themes
For as long as I can remember, I have simply loved art, looking closely at the brushstrokes and layers, then standing back to see how they merge to make up a whole piece, a window into some other place and time.
My paintings are experiments with colour, and the effect it has on us, psychologically and emotionally. They are also my play-things and I try not to think of the process too clinically and remember that it is supposed to be fun, and it is.
