J'ai fait des études aux Arts Décoratifs à Verviers où je suis sortie diplômée en décoration et peinture dans les années 1961 à 1965 ce qui m'a permis de travailler dans une usine où l'on fabriquait l'impression de tissus Boussac pour la maison et la création de vêtements dans le département dessin. J'ai toujours beaucoup aimé ce travail.
Après la fermeture de l'entreprise, j'ai repris des études pour travailler dans d'autres domaines afin de gagner ma vie et je suis entrée en imprimerie pour rester un peu dans le milieu artistique par l'impression de très beaux papiers pour catalogues, faire parts
