Sono nato a Lama Mocogno, un piccolo paese dell'Appennino Modenese ed in quel paese rimangono le mie radici, anche se ora abito a Pavullo.
Da che mi ricordo ho sempre avuto la passione per il disegno e la pittura, unita ad una certa predisposizione. Nell'arco degli anni, autodidatta, ho realizzato parecchie opere, esposte in numerose mostre personali e collettive, alcune delle quali anche di un certo rilievo, sia in Italia che all'estero.
Nel 1989 ho poi smesso di dipingere in modo continuativo, realizzando solo saltuariamente qualche disegno.
Ho ripreso con rinnovata passione nel giugno del 1999 a disegnare ed a dipingere, e di questo devo ringraziare Enrico, grande appassionato d'arte, amico, guida, insegnante, che mi ha consentito di concepire l'arte in una dimensione più ampia, fuori dei limitati confini del pavullese.
Ho presentato questa mia produzione più recente nel dicembre del 2000 presso Artefrignano ART SHOP a Pavullo.
Nel luglio del 2002 ho raccolto, in una mostra antologica, più di un centinaio di opere realizzate nel corso di oltre 15 anni, dipinti, sculture, disegni, fotografie ecc.
La mostra, dal titolo "Strappi della Memoria" è stata allestita a cura dell'Od'as, nella Sala di Cultura a Serramazzoni, col Patrocinio del Comune e della Pro Loco.
Ho partecipato in seguito a varie mostre collettive ed ho realizzato una serie di opere per la mia personale "... alle mappe dell'anima" del 2007.
Tra i miei interessi anche scrivere racconti e romanzi fantasy, e dal 1999 mi dedico anche alla fotografia digitale e successiva elaborazione al computer. Un esempio nelle foto degli anziani nel libro "Angeli senz'ali" di Franca Ascari e Liliana Benatti, pubblicato dall'associazione "Camminando per Mano" e nella serie "Insectivora"
