Après 1969 il y a eu beaucoup d’idoles féminines, cigarette à la mains. Je me souviens de Claudia Cardinale dans " il était une fois dans l'ouest". Tous ces vieux films où le glamour était mis en avant. Car chaque grand film a forcément une bande son, ça fait partie de son ADN. Je suis cinéphile et depuis tout jeune, je m'empresse de retrouver les noms de ceux qui m'ont marqué.
Le titre de chacune de mes toiles correspond à une musiques où il y a une voix féminine qui m'a bercer.

After 1969, there were a lot feminine idols, a cigarette in their hands. I remember Claudia Cardinale in "Once Upon a Time in the West". All these great movies had an original soundtrack, shaping my memories. As a cinephile I try to find the title of these musics and songs. I name every piece of my work after one of these melodies in wich I find the feminine voices of my childhood.

Né le 24 décembre 1986, l'artiste Mayki ( Maxime Ewertwoski), a débuté en autodidacte puis a suivi un cursus à l'école "FONDERIE DE L'IMAGE" de Paris pour devenir chef de projet multimédia. Mais il retournera vite à ses premiers amours, la création pure. Mayki passera alors du graphisme publicitaire à l'art vectoriel (avo), en s'inspirant de l'univers Pop Art et notamment des œuvres de l'illustres Andy Warhol.
"J'ai grandi dans un milieu exclusivement féminin. Mon inspiration vient d'elles, de mes muses. Que ce soit dans des films avec une bandes son très prononcée où on aperçoit des femmes glamours, ou dans la mode avec des publicités de parfums, j'aime et je me nourris de cette sensualité assumée."

Born the 24th of december 1986, Mayki ( Maxime Ewertowski) started as a self-taught artist before joining the "FONDERIE DE L'IMAGE" school of Paris to become a multimedia project manager,
After graduating, he decides to return to his first love : artist creation. With his experience in advertising graphics, he finds inspiration in the pop-art universe - especially in Andy Warhol work - and starts out in vector graphics creation.
"I grown up in a female-only environement. My inspiration come from these women who raised me, they are my muses. I love and look for this assumed sensuality found in the glamourous world of movies and advertisement."
