Protective Beings of Lake Atitlán is an expressionist oil painting that captures the sacred energy and spiritual guardianship associated with Guatemala’s Lake Atitlán. In bold strokes and vibrant colors, the three iconic volcanoes rise like mystical sentinels above the shimmering waters. Traditional boats float in rhythmic harmony, their red and yellow hues symbolizing life and protection. Through dynamic textures and abstract forms, the artist evokes the ancestral spirits believed to watch over the lake and its people. This piece invites viewers into a dreamlike dialogue between nature, culture, and the unseen forces that safeguard this sacred place.
